  Wladislaw I, King of Poland was born in 1260.2 He was the son of Casimir I, Duke of Kuiavia and Euphrosina of Opole.3 He married Hedwig Piast, daughter of Boleslaw, Duke of Kalisz and Helen Arpád, in 1293.2 He died in 1333.2
  He was a member of the House of Piast.4 He was a member of the House of Wladislaw 'the Short'.4 He succeeded as the Duke of Cracow in 1306.3 He was created King Wladislaw I of Poland in 1320.3
