Around 1130, he married Elisabeth de Joigny, lady of Champlay, probably the daughter of Renard III, count of Joigny, and his first wife Wandalmode de Beaujeu, of whom he had seven children:
Narjot II de Toucy, who succeeded his father.
Sare de Toucy, who married Gibaud de Saint-Vérain.
Guy de Toucy, mentioned in a renunciation in favour of the abbey of Saint-Benoît-sur-Loire by his brother Narjot.
Ithier de Toucy, Lord of Bazarnes, probably died without posterity.
Ermengarde de Toucy, who married Guillaume I de Dampierre, of whom she had several children, then Dreux IV de Mello, of whom she also had children.
Madeleine de Toucy, who married Renaud de Pougy.
Jean de Toucy, mentioned in a charter of 1180.
Once widowed, Elisabeth de Joigny married Eudes de Pougy, lord of Pougy, and had three other children.

Guy was the eldest son of William I of Dampierre[3] and Ermengarde of Toucy, lady of Champlay and daughter of Ithier III de Toucy and Elisabeth of Joigny.
