  Conrad I of Brno (Czech: Konrád I. Brněnský; died 6 September 1092) was the duke of Bohemia for eight months in 1092.
  
  Life
  He was the brother and successor of Vratislaus II (died 14 January 1092) as the third son of Bretislaus I and Judith of Schweinfurt. He did not succeed as king, because his brother had only been elevated to the royal dignity for life by the Emperor Henry IV without the establishment of a hereditary monarchy.
  
  Before he became duke of Bohemia, he had long ruled over Moravia, as junior sons typically did in this period of Bohemia, as duke of Brno and Znojmo from 1054.
  
  Marriage
  By his marriage to Wirpirk of Tengling, he had two children:
  
  Ulrich, prince of Brno from 1092 to 1097 and from 1100 to his death on 11 November 1113
  Luitpold, prince of Znojmo from 1092 to 1097 and from 1100 to his death on 15 March 1112
  He was succeeded as duke by his nephew Bretislaus.

  Конрад I Ота (чеш. Konrád I. Brněnský, ок. 1036 — 6 сентября 1092, Прага) — князь Брненский в 1054—1055 и 1061—1092, князь Чехии в 1092 из династии Пржемысловичей, третий сын князя Бржетислава I и его супруги Юдит фон Швейнфурт.
  Биография
  
  Ещё при жизни отца, в 1054 году, Конрад получил в удел Моравию, однако по восшествии на трон своего старшего брата, Спытигнева II, был вызван в Прагу и назначен управляющим княжеским двором.
  
  После смерти Спытигнева и воцарения другого своего брата, Вратислава II, Конрад вновь получил во владение часть Моравии с Брно, а также Зноймо (в 1061 году). Управлял этими территориями в течение 31 года, пользовался поддержкой местного дворянства, организовал несколько походов против Польши. В 1082 году воевал с австрийским маркграфом Леопольдом II.
  
  После смерти своего брата Оты под властью Конрада оказалась вся Моравия. Это показалось Вратиславу слишком опасным, и он в 1090 году выступил в поход против Конрада. Спасли положение последнего лишь возникшие между Вратиславом II и его сыном Бржетиславом II разногласия. Посредником между братьями выступила жена Конрада, примирившая его с королём. После смерти Вратислава князем Чехии становится Конрад, однако правит страной всего 8 месяцев. Оставил после себя сыновей Олдржиха (Удальриха) и Литольда, которые разделили его владения на Брненский и Зноемский уделы.
  Брак и дети
  
  Жена: Вирпирка (Хильдбурга). Существует несколько гипотез о её происхождении. Согласно одной гипотезе она была дочерью маркграфа Каринтии и Истрии Ульриха I и Софии Венгерской. По другой гипотезе она была дочерью Сигарда VII (VIII), графа в Химгау, и Пилихильды. Дети:

The Chronica Boemorum names (in order) "Spitignev, Wratislaw, Conradus, Iaromir, Otto" as the five sons of "Bracizlaus [et] Iuditha"[102]. The Annalista Saxo names three brothers "Wratizlai, Conradi et Ottonis"[103]. Fürst von Znaim 1054. Duke of West Moravia [Brno] 1061-1092. The Chronica Boemorum records that "dux Wratislaus et sui fratres Chounradus atque Otto" fought against "orientalem marchionem Lupoldum filium Lucz", the passage being undated with the date 1082 inserted in the margin of the edition[104]. He succeeded his brother in 1092 as KONRAD II Duke of the Bohemians. The Annales Gradicenses record that "Chonradus" succeeded in 1093 after the death of "Wratizlaus rex" but died after seven months[105]. - MARKGRAFEN of MORAVIA.
