  Albert II (or even Adalbert II, count of Thurgau), born around 835 and died around 894, was count of Thurgau , count of Rhetia and count of Swabia . Son of Adalbert I of Thurgau (815 - 846). He married Judith de Frioul, daughter of Évrard de Frioul and Gisèle (daughter of Louis le Pieux) , before 867.
  
  He is the direct ascendant of the Queen of the United Kingdom Elisabeth II and of the King of the Belgians Philippe .
  
  We know of four children:
  1.) Burchard I st Suabian (855 † 911);
  
  2.) Adalbert III († 911, executed like his older brother Burchard on the orders of Conrad I );
  
  3.) Eberhard (867 † 899), count in Zürichgau by marriage, married in 889 to Gisèle de Zürichgau (870 † 911), daughter of a lord of Verona , with a dead son without descendants and a daughter, Reginlinde (885 † 958) , married for the first time to her first cousin Burchard II of Swabia , then, on her death in 924, to her successor, Hermann I of Swabia .
