  Isanbart, Count in Thurgau, also known as Isambard the Saxon was an 8th-century count in the Frankish lands of Saxony and Master of the Palace at Altdorf in Alamannia.
  He was born about 750 in Narbonne, France the son of Warin I, documented as count in Thurgau and his wife Adalindis, a daughter of Duke Hildeprand of Spoleto.
  Isanbart himself was first mentioned as a Thurgau count in 774 and made significant donations to the Abbey of Saint Gall. He was Greve, Comte of Altorf and Master of the Palace.
  He was the brother of Bouchard "the Constable" and Alberic I de Narbonne.
  His wife was Thiedrada, of Carolingian origin, and he was the father of:
  1 Hedwig (Heilwig; d. after 833), married Count Welf;
  2 Adalung, abbot of Lorsch 804–837;
  3 Adalindis;
  4 Hunfrid I of Istria;
  4 Guelph of Andechs
  He died after 806 in Saxony.
  
  Isanbart, graaf in Thurgau, ook bekend als Isambard de Sakser, was een 8e-eeuwse graaf in de Frankische landen van Saksen en meester van het paleis in Altdorf in Alemannië.
  Hij werd geboren omstreeks 750 in Narbonne, Frankrijk, de zoon van Warin I, gedocumenteerd als graaf in Thurgau en zijn vrouw Adalindis, een dochter van hertog Hildeprand van Spoleto.
  Isanbart zelf werd voor het eerst genoemd als een graaf in Thurgau in 774 en deed aanzienlijke donaties aan de abdij van Saint Gall. Hij was Greve, graaf van Altorf en meester van het paleis.
  Hij was de broer van Bouchard "de Constable" en Alberic I de Narbonne.
  Zijn vrouw was Thiedrada, van Karolingische afkomst, en hij was de vader van:
