=== Life Sketch ===
The noble Sigrada was the mother of Leodegar von Autun and Warin von Poitou. She saw how these two sons were killed in 678/679 for political reasons by Ebroin, the caretaker of Neustria, and as a widow she was banished by Ebroin to the Marian monastery in Soissons, where she then entered as a nun and where she soon became abbess.
Birth:605
Death:8/4/678
aka Sainte-Marie de Soissons
St. Sigrada was the mother of St. Leger, Bishop of Autun, and St. Guarin. She was shut up in the monastery of Notre Dame de Soissons by King Ebroin, who persecuted her family for their faith in Christ. Her goods were confiscated, and her son, Guarin, was stoned to death. Her other son, St. Leger, was thrown into prison, where he was subjected to cruel conditions.
She became a nun at the convent of Soissons in France in the seventh century, where she died shortly after the martyrdom of her sons.
Chloderic
Chloderic was murdered by his own father in 509.
