  There seems to be some dispute as to Fedelmia's parentage. While many listings have her father as Brion Foltchain, then attach him to Eochaid Mugmedon, 124th High King of Ireland, the dates do not correspond. It seems that in the tables listing the kings of Dal Riada who list Domngart as having married Feldemia, daughter of Eochy Mogmedon, a mistaken attachment to one of the sons of Eochaid Mugmedon has occurred. Since the times between Eochaid Mugmedon and Fedelmia are off by at least 100 years, this attachment is very unlikely. Could it be that she is the daughter of Eochy Mogmedon who was a grandson of Eochaid Mugmedon? That parentage would seem the more likely, however, at this point, no source information bearing that out can be found so her lineage will end with Eochy Mogmedon.
