=== Life Sketch ===
Solor followed his father, Mor, as an influential Roman of early 5th century Britain. He appears to have been named after the local Glamorgan tribe, the Silures, and was probably the first man in the area to call himself their King, after the Imperial administration withdrew from the province of Britannia around AD 410. He was succeeded by his son, Glywys, founder of the Kingdom of dynasty of Glywysing (Glamorgan). An apparent younger son was the supposed ancestor of Gorlois of Tintagel, the traditional first husband of King Arthur's mother.
