Zorobabel ben Salathiel ben Jechonias

- Gender: M
- Rebuilt+Temple+++538-516: BET 538 BC AND 516 BC in Jerusalem, Ottoman Empire at LATI: N1.7833 LONG: E5.2333 with note: Rebuilt Temple 538-516
- Occupation: Governor Of The State Of Judah
- Death: BET 520 BC AND 516 BC with note: He is not mentioned 4 years later when temple was dedicated. 516BC
He was still alive in Haggai 1:1
second year (520BC) of Darius the king,
He was living in 537BC when he lead the Jews back to Judea from Babylon.
Finally, God sent the prophets Haggai and Zechariah to encourage and support Zerubbabel (Ezra 5:1–2), and the work on the second temple resumed. Four years later, in 516 BC, the temple was completed and dedicated with great fanfare (Ezra 6:16). The Jews also observed the Passover (Ezra 6:19). It’s interesting that Zerubbabel is never mentioned in connection with the dedication ceremonies, nor is his name mentioned again after Ezra 5:1. For this reason, Zerubbabel’s temple is often referred to simply as the “second temple.”

This Zorobabel, son of Salathiel, is the Governor of Judah.
For those who believe theories external to the Biblical text that the three Zorobabel’s are the same person, please do not merge these, rather just jump to each respectively and carry on from there.

— Ne 12:47.
