大业十三年，其父阴世师阻止李渊攻破长安，阴世师杀李渊子李智云、发李家祖坟。城破之后抄家，家眷没入掖庭。颇有姿色，有宠于秦王李世民，生下皇五子李佑，封为德妃。
贞观十七年，李佑谋反伏诛后，受到株连，贬为嫔位，郁郁而终，陪葬于昭陵。
