=== !His widow, Anna Catharina (Baumann) cam ===
!His widow, Anna Catharina (Baumann) came to NY in 1710, Hunters List # 825.
Listed as a widow with two children on the 1717 Simmendinger census at New
Queensberg (Schoharie, NY). It seems likely she went to Burnetsfield after
1717, rather than following other Wohlenbens (i.e., Peter, Philip, & Valenten,
who were at Beckmansland in 1717 and later lived near Kingston, NY).

Individual Notes Hans Peter Wohleben Hans Peter WOHLEBEN, son of Johann Paulus WOHLEBEN and Barbara SCHUMACHER. Hans or Johann Peter was christened 08 Sep 1646 at Ch. of the Barefoot Monks, Basel, Switzerland. Source: A:D Baptized as Hans Peter. Sponsors: Magister Johannes Gernlerus, Pastor at St. Peter (in his stead, Magister Michael Strubin, S.R.), Herr Jacob Basler - Master of Harbours, Frau Esther Battier - w/o Herr Hans Rudolph Burkhart, the town clerk (in her stead, Ursula - single d/o the aforementioned Herr Jacob Basler) - (Church of the Barefoot Monks, Basel). Source: A Henry Jones does not say this Peter immigrated. The only reference in his book that may be of this Hans Peter is under the entry for Johann Peter, chr. 03 Feb 1704, when he says "another Peter Wolleben was naturalized the 8 and 9 Sep 1715 (Kingston Naturalizations.)" In reference to Johann Peter, chr. 1677, Hank Jones says "Johon Petter Wollefen (Wollnfon?) was nat. 8 and 9 Sept 1715 (Kingston Nats.)." Source: A If there are two entries for Johann Peter Wohleben in the Kingston Naturalizations one could be for Johann Peter chr. 1677, and one for Hans Peter chr. 1646 OR for his son Johann Peter chr. 1674. There are references made in the Mormon Ancestral File to a Hans Peter WOHLEBEN having a son, Johann Peter, b. ca 1674. Does anyone know the source of this information? More research is necessary to clear up some confusion regarding references to "Peter."
