She married, firstly, Sir John Fitzwilliam, son of Sir John Fitzwilliam and Eleanor Green.2 She married, thirdly, William Gascoigne, son of William Gascoigne and Joan Wyman, on 7 February 1426 at Aldwark, Yorkshire, North Riding, EnglandG, in a clandestine marriage.3
Her married name became Fitzwilliam.2 Her married name became Waterton. From 7 February 1426, her married name became Gascoigne.1 She also had three other sons and five daughters by her third husband.3

Margaret Clarell married Sir Robert Waterton in 1422. Margaret Clarell for the third time got married with Sir William Gascoigne, Sheriff of Yorkshire, son of Sir William Gascoigne and Jane Wyman, before 7 February 7, 1426.
