Parties: William de Quenton', knight, and Isabel, his wife, querents, and John de Olneye, Nicholas de Cogenho and John Cook' of Comberton', deforciants. Property: The manor of Comberton' in the county of Cambridge and the manor of Whitrothyng and the advowson of the church of the same manor in the county of Essex. Action: Plea of covenant. Agreement: William has acknowledged the manors and advowson to be the right of John, Nicholas and John, as those which John, Nicholas and John have of his gift. For this: John, Nicholas and John have granted to William and Isabel the manors and advowson and have rendered them to them in the court, to hold to William and Isabel, of the lord king and his heirs for the lives of William and Isabel. And after the decease of William and Isabel the manors and advowson shall remain to Henry, son of Henry Grene of Isham, and the heirs of his body, to hold of the lord king and his heirs for ever. In default of such heirs, remainder to Henry Grene the elder, the father of the aforesaid Henry, son of Henry, and his heirs. Note: This agreement was made by the command of the lord king.
