Sir William FitzWilliam (the subject of this article), was executor of his father's will in 1294, and was dead in 1342. He apparently married twice, (1) Maude, dead in 1324, and (2) Isabel Deincourt, who died 1348, apparently s.p.

Note: The above has a 1st wife Muade, mother of his children. However the latest research, to be published in Edition 3 of Plantagenet Ancestry, has only 1 wife, Isabel Deincourt, sometimes referred to as Maude (see notes under William). That citation says of the above text "invents ficticious 1st wife Maud, misconstrues the settlement of 1324."
