=== Life Sketch ===
The life of Nicholas and his family. In order to figure this persons life out it took several sources to piece together. The first book to read, The Victoria history of the county of Lancaster, in it, on page 344 it shows that he had two children, Richard and Elizabeth the wife of William Boteler. They are listed as co-heirs out of the Manor of Chalkwell co. Essex, when Nicholas died in 1335. Then the book, Baronia Anglica Concentrata, Or, A Concentrated Account of All the ..., Volume 2 on page 91, it discusses the dealing of all the known Haverings, and lists Nicholas, his wife Margaret the co-heir of Henry Grapenell and there son Richard and there land holdings, which were many, one of which was in Chalkwell co.
