  [G675.ged] Alice was coheiress of the Corbets of Caus (for which see CP, the other coheiress marrying Brian of Brampton). This was the senior line of the family, although the pedigree is somewhat in debate. Perhaps a good start is Paget's Baronetage, (available on LDS microfilm). The Corbets we are all familiar with descend from a younger branch (although they invented an older disposessed lineage). Another reference which might be useful is J Meisel *Barons of the Welsh Frontier: the Corbet, Pantulf and Fitz Warin Families* (London, 1980).
