=== Life Sketch ===
The book "Our Royal, Titled, Noble & Commoner Ancestors" is incorrect. The "de Glasshouse" reference comes from 3 Harleian manuscripts: Harleian MS 2038, fol 54 (64r), fol 45b (56v) & fol 55 (65r). None of these say Mathilda was dau of Henry de Glasshouse.
Mathilda's correct father is listed in "A History of the County of Lancaster", v3, by Victoria County History, ed William Farrer & J Brownbill, British History Online
www.british-history.ac.uk/vch/lancs/vol3/pp52-56 (VCH Lancaster, v3, Kirkby)
www.british-history.ac.uk/vch/lancs/vol3/pp31-35 (VCH Lancaster, v3, Bootle)
They show her father is Robert de Byron.
