Henry accounted for the Knight's fees which he held in North Cadbury and Maperton, 12 Henry II., A.D. 1166, paying at the same date an aid in respect of them on the marriage of the King's daughter. His brother William, it seems, either became or was alleged to have become a leper, and thereby or for some other cause forfeited his estates, which there-upon descended to Henry, upon whose death without issue (for William his only son died S.P. vivente patre) all the estates of Adam his father descended to the third son James, who had livery of them 6 John, A.D. 1205
