actually, you have dropped two generations. The Gruffydd ap Madog in question was son of Madog ap Gruffydd, son of Gruffydd ap Madog (who married the daughter of Owain Gwynedd), son of the above Madog ap Maredudd. A convenient skeleton pedigree of these families can be seen in Burke's Guide to the Royal Family, among the section on the Welsh Royalty (Obviously, for more detail and complete ancestry go to Bartrum). His son Gruffydd Fychan was great-grandfather of Glendower (Glyndwr).

It's not clear if this is the correct daughter of Owain Gwynedd, in the DNP entry it says she married Morgan ap Seisyll - it's possible that he was a first or second husband. However, numerous websites and databases list her as Gruffydd's wife and for lack of anything more substantial, she will be used as Gruffydd's wife.
