=== ! Was sometimes called Guy de Brian, Ba ===
! Was sometimes called Guy de Brian, Baron of Talacharn (Talagharn) in Wales. He was probably the first de Brienne born in Wales, and would have been the 5th. of the line named Guy de Brienne, but would have been considered, or called, Guy de Brienne/Brien II, in England and/or Wales, his father being considered Guy de Brienne, the 1st. In the 29th. year of the reign of Henry III (1256/1257), the chief seat of resdence of Guy de Brienne/Brien II, according to Burke, in 1883, was Pembrokeshire in the "marches of Wales ", in the southern part of the county, not far from County Devon in southwestern England. Nicholas (1892) writes that a " younger de Brian" (Guy II) had by some means, probably the means most commenly used during that time and place, "fire and sword", become possessed of lands in Devon. He also writes that in about 1300, this "younger de Brian " bequeathed portions of his land to the town of "Talacharn " ( which is now modern Lougharne, Wales), and granted the town a charter. He was known to have married twice. His first wife was Eve de Tracy, daughter and sole heiress of Henry and Maud (de Braose) de Tracy, of Barnstaple, Devon, England. A daughter, Maud, was born to this marriage, but his son Guy de Brien, III, was born to his second wife, name "unknown".
