“Royal Ancestry: A Study in Colonial & Medieval Families,” Douglas Richardson (2013):
"Children of William Longespée, Knt., by Ela of Salisbury:
vi. MARY LONGESPÉE, married in or or about Sept. 1227, ___, an unknown husband.* Jobson English Government in the 13th Cent. (2004): 121, footnote 86, cites Hardy Rotuli Literarum Clausarum 2 (1835): 200. (*Footnote: The identity of Mary Longespée's husband is unknown. He may possibly have been Robert de Roos (or Ros), Knt. (died 1267/9), of Wark, Carham, Downham (in Carham), Mindrum (in Carham), Northumberland, Cargo (in Stanwix), Cumberland, and Sanquhar, Dumfriesshire, Scotland, younger son of Robert de Roos, of Helmsley, Yorkshire, by Isabel, illegitimate daughter of William the lion, King of Scots [see Richardson Magna Carta Ancestry (2010)]. Sir Robert de Roos had children named William, Isabel, and Ida, which given names occur among descendants of the Longespée family. Further research is needed, however, to establish the identity of Mary Longespée's husband.)"

notes
From Complete Peerage XI:119-20
Sir ROBERT DE ROS of Wark on Tweed, Northumberland, younger son of Robert DE ROS of Helmsley (died circa 1226), was probably the Robert, son of Robert de Ros, who, in February 1206/7, was a hostage in custody of the Earl of Oxford. In April 1230 he was going overseas in the King's expedition into France. In 1234 he was appointed a justice of the Bench, and went on circuit in Lincs, Yorks and Northumberland. Chief justice of the Forests North of Trent, November 1236. He was in attendance on the King at York, when Alexander II of Scotland disclaimed Northumberland, Cumberland and Westmorland, in consideration of a money payment and a grant of lands in England, 25 September I237. He was sum. before the Council in London, June 1242. In May 1244 he was summoned against the Scots. After the marriage of King Alexander III to Princess Margaret, 26 December 1251, Robert de Ros and John de Balliol were sent with her to Scotland as guardians. In 1255 Margaret complained of their proceedings. Robert was summoned to England, his lands were seized, and a fine of 100,000 marks imposed.
comments
From The following e-mail from Douglas Richardson indicates that CP is in error in both accounts above:
This record proves that it was Robert de Roos' son and heir, William, who married Christine Bertram, not Robert himself. This corrects Complete Peerage under both Bertram and Ros.
This record also proves that Ida, wife of Roger Bertram, the younger, was the daughter of Robert de Roos, of Wark. Ida subsequently married (2nd) Robert de Neville, of Raby, and (3rd) John Fitz Marmaduke. This adds to the information on Ida which is found in Complete Peerage under Bertram and Neville.
This leaves Sir Robert de Roos (died 1269) without a wife. However, inasmuch as he named a daughter, Ida, I think it is a good bet that his wife descends from the Longespee, Bigod, or Tony families, all of which families used the given name, Ida.
