  Hugh de Odingsells, son of Basilia de Limesi; b. about 1175; liv 1213 with his brother William and his parents who inherited lands from John de Limesi his mother's brother (Rot de Oblatis, p 507, and Clutterbuck's Hist. of Hertfordshire, III:119-22), when the sons were surety for payment of their father's fine; his wife's name is unknown. He d 23 Hen III, or 1239, for under David de Lindeseie, who died in 1242, this Hugh de Odingsells is succeeded by Gerard de Odingsells during the lifetime of the said David de Lindeseie.
