=== Some sources indicate Roger De Pitres w ===
Some sources indicate Roger De Pitres was married to Eunice De Baalun whose father is Drew De Baalun. The most common dates of birth of the De Baalun's is 1137 and 1150 or there abouts. Berthe is also listed as Emma De Ballon of Ballon France. I suspicion that there has been confusion between Berthe and her mother in law and between Drew and his daughter's father-in-law's father-in-law. This stems from the sources which indicate the Miles De Ballon is also called Drew. I am choosing to believe that Roger married Adelisa and that his son married Berthe (Emma and/or Eunice) and that De Ballon and De Baalun are the same.

=== Bertha is said to have been the sister ( ===
Bertha is said to have been the sister (possibly half-sister) ofHamelyn de Baalun. If this is true and one of Hamelyn's other sistersor half sisters was Eunice, also a child of Dru de Balun, this wouldmean that Bertha's husband was her nephew or half-nephew. Whilestranger things may have happened in the 11th c., I am content, in theabsence of strong evidence, to assign Bertha to the same extendedfamily as Hamelyn and Eunice, but am witholding judgment on thequestion of her parentage or exact place in that family.

Author: From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Publication: Name: https://www.wikiwand.com/en/Richard_Fitz_Pons;
Note: Richard Fitz Pons (c. 1080 – 1129) was an Anglo-Norman nobleman, active as a marcher lord on the border with Wales.
He is described as a follower of Bernard de Neufmarche, and probably first builder of Bronllys Castle. He started construction at Llandovery Castle in 1116.
Family
His father was Pons fitz Pons. He married Matilda Fitz Walter (died after 1127), daughter of Walter Fitz Roger, sheriff of Gloucester, and Bertha de Ballun. Walter de Clifford was one of their four children.
Richard was the heir of Drogo fitz Pons and Walter fitz Pons, both mentioned in the Domesday Survey. He is now taken to be their nephew. They had lands in Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Pinxton in Derbyshire, Glasshampton in Worcestershire.
