=== Life Sketch ===
Son of Payne de Beauchamp and his wife, Countess Rohese.
He lies buried inside the Church of St. Paul close to the high altar. There are signs of a medieval brass to commemorate him but that is no longer in situ. Were it to be so it would be the oldest brass in the UK. His wife was Isabella Wake who is mentioned as experiencing a miracle attributed to St. Gilbert of Sempringham, founder of the Gilbertine monastic order.
“Royal Ancestry: A Study in Colonial & Medieval Families,” Douglas Richardson (2013):
“IDA LONGESPÉE.
