  William de Glanville, brother of Ranulph and son of Sir Hervey de Glanville, married, as some authorities affirm, a daughter of William [de Warrenne], second Earl of Surrey. This lady was married twice before she espoused de Glanville, her first husband being Roger de Newburgh, Earl of Warwick; and second, William de Lancaster, Baron of Kendal. William de Glanville left a daughter and sole heiress, Agnes, who also, on the death of her uncle Roger de Glanville, became his heiress.
