Note: PIERRE [I] de Preuilly dit de Montrabel, son of ESCHIVARD [I] Seigneur de Preuilly & his wife --- (-[26 Feb] after 28 Sep 1151). Seigneur de Preuilly. “Engembaldus...Turonensis...episcopus” notified that “dominus Petrus filius Eschivardi de Pruliaco” confirmed his father’s donation of property “[de] viam de Pozai ad Cremilliame...et decimas” to Bécheron by undated charter, dated to [28 Sep 1151/10 Sep 1156][92]. A charter dated to before 27 Sep 1151 records, among other donations, that "Eginard [error for Pierre?] de Montrabert seigneur de Preuilly" donated property near “[le] monastère de Pozé...” to Bécheron, with the consent of "ses quatre fils...Pierre du Montrabert, Josbert, Jourdain et Gauthier", while a charter dated to [1160] records the same donation made by “Eschivardus [error for Petrus?] dominus Pruliaci” with the consent of “filiis suis Petro de Morambua, Josberto, Jordane et Galtero”[93]. The necrology of Bécheron records the death “IV Kal Mar” of “dominus Petrus de Monteraber fundator hujus loci”[94]. m ---. The name of Pierre’s wife is not known. One possibility is that she was “domine Enjobergie”, not otherwise identified, who is named in the following document: [her supposed grandson] “Eschivardus dominus Pruliacensis” confirmed the donation of produce “in molendino domine Enjobergie” to Bécheron made by “Gaufridum fratrem meum” by charter dated 1208[95]. Another possibility is that she was heiress of la Guerche [en Touraine], which passed to her second son Gosbert. Pierre [I] & his wife had four children: 1. PIERRE [II] de Preuilly (-[25 Feb] [1204]). 2. GOSBERT de Preuilly dit de la Guerche (-[1204/05]). 3. JORDAIN de Preuilly (-after 1175). 4. GAUTHIER de Preuilly (-after 1175).
