  Biography
  Hubert le Blund, son of William le Blund and Sarah de Montechency.
  
  Lewis (2019) and Lundy (2006), state that his given name was Gilbert, but Lewis (2019), also acknowledges his alias as Hubert. The name Hubert was common in his mother's family.
  
  Sanders (n.d.), reports that Hubert came of age only in 1186 and died a few years later in 1188.
  
  A foundation story of Ixworth Priory about his grandfather Gilbert, who founded a convent there, names Hubert's parents and his wife, Agnes de Insula. Lewis (2019), also state that his wife was Agnes de Insula (or de Lisle), and that they were the parents of Stephen le Blount.
  
  William le Blund, as the son of Hubert le Blund and Agnes de Insula, in a pedigree illustrating the descent of the Blund estate. The chart asserts that William's wife was Cecilia de Vere. Sanders (n.d.), states that William came of age in 1206 and died 1228.
