   Note: ROBERT [I] de Courcy, son of [BALDRIC] & his wife --- [de Brionne] . According to Orderic Vitalis[2844], "Baldricus Teutonicus" came to Normandy with his brother Wigerius [Viger/Wigerich] to serve Duke Richard II and married the niece of Gilbert de Brionne. Her exact parentage is not known. In the same passage, Orderic records that the couple had "six sons and several daughters," naming the sons as Nicolas de Baqueville, Foulques d'Aunou, Robert de Courcy, Richard de Neuville, Baudri de Bocquencé and Viger de Apulia[2845]. It is possible that Robert [I] de Courcy was the husband of Hebrea.
