  Håkon Ivarsson (1031 - 1062) was a Viking warlord from Norway . Son of Ivar the White [ 1 ] one of the district jarls under the reign of Olaf II the Saint . [ 2 ] [ 3 ] Captain for coastal defense in Denmark under the reign of Svend II Estridsen (1048-1050). Jarl of Oppland under the reign of Harald III of Norway (1054-1064) on the death of his predecessor Orm Eilivsson . [ 4 ] [5 ] The Orkneyinga saga mentions that after the Battle of Niså , Håkon Ivarsson had been banished by King Harald and was given power in Sweden under Stenkil . [ 6 ] [ 7 ]
  
  Håkon married an illegitimate daughter of Magnus I of Norway , named Ragnhild, and from that relationship three children would be born:
  Ragnhild Håkonsdatter (b. 1055), who married the Jarl of Orkney , Pablo Thorfinnsson .
  Sunniva Håkonsdatter, whose name is unknown, but she had a son, Håkon Sunnivasson (b. 1088) who would marry Ragnhild (a daughter of Erico I of Denmark ) and as a result of that relationship, Erico III of Denmark would be born . [ 8 ]
  Ivar Håkonsson, who would marry a daughter of Aale Guttormsson (b. 1050) from Hedmark .
