Wrote & published "A Dictionary in English & Welsh" in London in 1547; "Battery of the Popes Batteraux", commonly called "The High Altar"; "The Laws of Howell Du". Translated & 1st published "The Epistles and Gospels for the Whole Year" in King Edward V's time. He also published the "New Testament in Welsh" at the command of the Bishop of Wales in 1567. Queen Elizabeth granted to him & John Wales a patent of 7 years for printing the Bible and Common Prayer, &c.
