  Biography
  
  Lord Laurence de Ludlowe was born circa 1225 in Ludlow, Shropshire, England. He was the son of Nicholas De Ludlowe.
  
  Evidence of Laurence de Lodelowe can be found in the Plea Rolls of Salop (an old name for Shropshire), England.[1] From the plea rolls, it has been determined that Laurence de Lodelowe was the father of William de Lodelowe and the grandfather of the Laurence de Ludlowe who married a woman named Hawise.
