Note: PELAYO Gómez (-[1101]). “...Pelaio Gomiz...” confirmed the charter dated 7 Aug 1073 under which Alfonso VI King of Castile granted "racione in villa...Uilla Uellaco, territorio Graliare, discurrente flumine Aratoi" to “Uelasco Uelaz et uxori tue Helisabet”[861]. "Filiis…meis…Fredenando…Pelagio…Garseano" made a donation to Cluny dated 1 Aug 1076 with "Tarasia comitissa", naming their father "comitis Gomis Didas"[862]. "...Pelaio Gomiz..." confirmed the charter dated 8 May 1080 under which King Alfonso VI decreed that no representative of the king could enter Sahagún[863]. “...Pelagio Gomiz, Fernando Gomiz...” [signing third and fourth] subscribed the charter dated 29 Mar 1085 under which "comitissa de terra Spanensi...Iusta" sold property to “...comite domno Petro...et uxore vestre comitissa domna Eilo”[864]. The dating clause of a charter dated 6 May 1085, under which "Ecta Annalaz" sold “una heredad en Tiedra” to “Gutierre Nepozaniz a su mujer y a sus hijos”, records “comite Petro Ansuriz in Toro et in Zamora et eius vigarius in Autero de Sellas Pelagius Gomez”[865]. m ELVIRA Muñoz, daughter of conde MUNIO Rodríguez & his second wife Ilduara Velásquez. Torres names Elvira Muñoz as daughter of Munio Rodríguez and his second wife and states that she married Pelayo Gómez[866]. Pelayo & his wife had [three] children:
a) MUNIO Peláez (-after 7 Sep 1142). Conde. Señor de Monterroso[867].
