  Intrigante: uma santa cristã, de ancestrais visigodos, vivendo em domínios muçulmanos.
  
  Her name appears on August 16 in the manuscript of Sens (X century) of the Hieronymian Martyrology. There is also mention of a place called Sainte-Bazile in two cards of 1216 and 1285. It is without doubt the Saint Basilia, patron saint of Couvert, near Juaye-Mondaye, in the diocese of Bayeux. We no information about her, other than those her martyrdom, immediately due to faith, and the spread of her cult. According to legend, seven fountains were miraculously gushed in the places touched by her strong head. We must not confuse it with the Basilia whose relics, brought to Rome, are found at the Hotel Dieu in Bayeux.
