  Sarah A. GROAT, the daughter of William P. Groat (143) and Hannah Shufelt, was born May 15, 1813, and christened "Sally Ann" June 27, 1813,at the Reformed Church of Claverack. She married Jonas R. Delamater November 1, 1832, at the home of her father. Present at the wedding were John Pulver and Sarah E. Groat (228). The wedding is recorded at the Reformed Church of Claverack. They had six children, all christenedat the Reformed Church of Claverack. Sally Ann died at the age of 77,May 7, 1890, and she is buried in the churchyard of the Reformed Church of Claverack
