  Sir William was the son of Robert de Morley, second Baron Morley, and Hawise Marshal. He married Cecily Bardolf.
  
  Knight and Lord Marshall. Son and heir by his father's first marriage. He married Cecily by March 1345 and they had two sons, John and Sir Thomas.
  
  William served in Gascony, was with Prince Edward in Carcassonne and Narbonne in 1355, and summoned to Parliament 1364 to 1379. His will bequeaths "to Sir Thomas, my son and heir . . . the plate belonging to Cecily, my wife, marked with the arms of Bardolph." (bio Anne Shurtleff Stevens)
