=== QUESTION: There seems to be a big probl ===
QUESTION: There seems to be a big problem here with figuring the estimated dates from the exact dates given in various original records. Mary's father (according to Ormerod and the Ancestral file), William Darce, was born in 1265, but his great-grandchild was born just 31 years later in 1296. I think there may be a generational mixup. Even worse are charts that make Mary the daughter of Sir Randolph, since that even extends the generational gap (however, it would make more sense for her to be the daughter of the first Ranlolph, the Sheriff, since that would be earlier.) CHECK!
