  Catharine Maria GROAT, the daughter of Henry Groat, Jr., (120) and Corstina Link, was born July 20, 1807, and was christened "Catharina Maria Graed" at the Reformed Church of Kinderhook. She married Richard Deyo on January 16, 1825, at the Reformed Church of Claverack. She is mentioned in her father's will (dated October 20, 1843, and probated April 3, 1844) as the wife of Richard Deyo. A bible kept by her father indicates that she had three children:
