His first wife was Alianore, daughter of Sir Eble de Montz (Montibus), Constable of Windsor Castle, who had 2 sons: eldest son John Le Strange VI, Lord Strange of Knockin, who died 2 years after his father; and another son Eubulo (Eble) Le Strange. His second wife was Maud, daughter of John of Walton de Eiville, Warwickshire; with a daughter Elizabeth and son John Le Strange, King's Yeoman and half brother to John VI.
