  ROGER De COLEVILLE, also known as "de Colevyle" or "de Colville," was born about 1251 in Castle Bytham, Lincolnshire, England. He was the son of Walter de Coleville, Lord Colville, of Bytham and Isabel de Coleville. He had one sister, Margaret de Colville.
  
  Roger married twice. First he married Margaret Devereaux and had three children:
  1. Elizabeth Basset
  2. Edmund de Coleville of Bytham
  3. Alice de Gernon
  
  He next married Elizabeth Handsacre and had one child:
  1. Sir Roger Coleman, II
  
  Roger De Coleville died in April 1288 in Bytham, Lincolnshire, England, where he was buried.

  ROGER DE COLEVILLE, son and heir, aged 26 at his father's death. On 28 June 1283 he was summoned, by writ directed Rogero de Colevilla de Byham, to attend the King at Shrewsbury, but this does not seem to have been a summons to Parliament.
  
  He married Margaret, daughter of Sir Richard DE BREWES, of Stinton, Norfolk, by Alice, daughter and heir of William Le Rus, of Stinton. He died 1287/8, before 6 March, date of writ for Inq. p. m.
