  Andrew was the son of Jeremiah Beal, Jr., of Hingham, Plymouth County, Massachusetts and Hannah Lane Beal of Hingham, Plymouth County, Massachusetts. Hannah and Jeremiah were married on 22 May 1677 in Hingham, Plymouth County, Massachusetts. Hannah and Jeremiah had eleven children. They were: Jeremiah Beal, II, was born on 02 May 1678; Sarah Beal was born on 02 March 1680; Hannah Beal was born on 31 December 1681; Jael Beal was born on 21 December 1683; Andrew Beal was born on 27 January 1685; Jedediah Beal was born on 04 November 1688; Abraham Beal was born on 26 October 1690; Bathsheba Beal was born on 19 February 1692; Rebecca Beal was born on 08 April 1695; Benjamin Beal was born on 08 April 1697; and Abigail Beal was born on 13 December 1699. All the children were born in Hingham, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.

I shall feel thankful if any of your contributors can and will give me the pedigree of Rebeckah Paine, born in Braintree, Mass., about 1740 or 1741; died there about 1782; or the names of any of her descendants. She married, in Braintree, intentions Jan. 23, 1758-59, John (5) Hunt (John 4, Colonel Ephraim 3, Ephraim 2, Enoch 1, the immigrant). He was born in Braintree, July 9, 1737, died in Belchertown, 1813. Mr. Hunt married, second, intentions March 8, 1783, Mary Thayer, probably of Braintree, and soon after removed with his family to Belchertown, where he established a home. There were nine children born of the first marriage and one by the second, to wit: Ruth, Seth, John, Abner, Lydia, Rebecca, Rachel, Sarah, Jabez and Mary. Seth married Sarah Lamb of Randolph; Abner married Dimmis Root of Belchertown; Lydia married John Belding; Rebecca married, first Isaac Foster of Greenfield, and second Abijah Scovil of Ontario County, N. Y.; Rachel married Roswell Dickinson, and Sarah married Joseph Dickinson of Amherst. I shall also be glad to receive the lineage of Mary Thayer. 2. Foster, Thorp, White. John (4) Foster (Jacob 3, Isaac 2, Reginald 1), born in Ipswich, Mass., baptized Sept. 11, 1702; died in Bernardstown (Burk's Fort), about 1758; removed with father to Lebanon, Conn., in 1718; married, Aug. 26, 1724, Abigail Thorp, daughter of Peter and Abigail (White, not Abigail Higley, as erroneously given in Pierce's "Foster Genealogy") Thorp; she died probably at Lebanon about 1740. Soon after he, with his two sons, Isaac and Ezekiel, removed to Deerfield, Mass., and later was at Bernardstown. I will be very glad to get the pedigree of Peter Thorp and of Abigail White, who came to Lebanon from Dedham, Mass. John Foster enlisted in the colonial military service, and was known as Sergeant Foster. I should be glad to know whether or not he married a second wife or had children other than Isaac and Ezekiel.
