John Loker, son of Henry and Elizabeth Loker was born in England and came to the colonies about 1638 with his mother and his brother, Henry Loker and perhaps his sisters.
He settled in Sudbury in 1639 and was granted one acre that year for a house lot, 3 acres and a half in 1639 and six acres in 1640.
His brother, Henry Loker had similar grants at the same time. Both shared in the divisions of land to the proprietors.
In 1655, John Loker had 19 acres in the "Second Squadron".
John married Mary Draper.
His children with Mary Draper were:

2. Mary Loker, b. Sept. 28, 1653 born after the death of her father John. She married Jonan Prescott, son of John Prescott and his wife, Mary Platts of Lancaster, Mass.
