I am looking for information on the following family line that I just discovered. I have Chrispher Wilkinson married to a woman named Johanne about 1575 in Kildwick, yorkshire. they had a son henry Wilkinson on April 13, 1578 in Kildwick. Henry married Mary Watkinson on December 7, 1613 in Kildwick. I belive they lived in the town Silsden Moor. Henry and Mary had a daughter named Isebelle Wilkinson bapt on Jan. 6, 1619 in Kildwick. Isabelle moved to Colonial America in the late 1630's. She married a man named Richard Blood on November 25, 1642 in Groton Massachusettes. It is her family that was one of the first colonists in the US and founded the Town of Groton, MA. I would love to find more information on the Wilkinson family. I know a bit in Colonial America and would love to try to flush out how it was she came to leave the UK. - Kristin
Std. If we don't know her date of birth, we likely don't know where she was born, particularly since we do not know her parentage.

=== Life Sketch ===
Surname, birth and parents are unknown. She is shown as a "cousin" (probably "niece") in Henry Wilkenson's will (as "Isabel Blood"), not his daughter. Henry also had a daughter, Isabel, who was christened in 1619. That may have been the Isabel Wilkenson who married Robert Cowper in 1639. It is likely (but unproven) that this Isabel was also born in Yorkshire (not, Lynn, MA, which did not yet exist). She married Richard Blood sometime before Nov. 25, 1642, the date of Henry's will.
Isabel's death is also unknown. It is shown as 1692 in many family trees but that is when she moved into the household of son-in-law, Joseph Parker. She was still living in 1706 when Joseph was granted permission to sell her lands:
"In answer to the within petition. Resolved that all the lands which Richard Blood, late of Groton deceased died seized of lying in the said town be given & granted to Joseph Parker, the petitioner---in consideration of the charge that said Parker has been at in the maintenance of the within mentioned Isabel Blood for fourteen years last past. Provided that the said Parker give her also a neet & comfortable maintenance during her natural life & a decent funeral at her decease. Sent up for Concurrance 12 Jul 1706 in the House of Representatives. Read & Passed."
Isabelle's husband Richard is mentioned in detail in the book, "The story of the Bloods, including an account of the early generations" by Roger Deane Harris, which can be found online here: https://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id=wu.89084885870;view=1up;seq=158. See page 164.
In this well-sourced book, Isabelle and Richard are listed with the following children:
1. Joseph
2. James
3. Sarah
4. Nathaniel
5. Mary
6. Hannah
No other children are known to belong to this couple. Many of her children have actual birth records, but only the father is listed in the record.
Isabelle was alive when her husband died and she is mentioned in his death record and his probate documents. She and her sons James, Joseph, and Nathaniel were all administrators on Richard's estate. Son Nathaniel may have been lame.

!Cambridge, Groton Vit Rec; Middlesex Court rec; New England Register; Research of Beardsley Wilkinson, Tacoma WA and Charles Bradford Elwood; Boston Transcript #7789, 23 Mar 1940, 4 May 1940, 6 Dec 1916; Will: Henry Wilkinson, town skinner of Nottingham, England bequeathed to my cousin Isabel Blood of New England three pounds. (Will made 25 Nov 1642, probated 27 Mar 1646) Ref: "Waters Gleanings". Some have accepted this as proof that her name was Wilkinson, however the children of sisters are first cousins with no common name between them because the mothers both changed their names when they married, thus there is only 1 chance in 4 that Isabel's name is Wilkinson. Mentioned in the will of Henrt Wilkinson of Nottingham England as a cousin (probably niece) of. Her own name may or may not have been Wilkinson. !The Story of The Bloods by Roger Deane Harris. !Old Families of Concord pg 6 lists Isabel as Farmer daughter of John Farmer.
