=== William Ripley's First Wife is an Unknown. She was not Elizabeth OR Katherine Banks ===
The wife of William Ripley is an UNKNOWN. She is not Elizabeth Banks, Katherine Banks (they were two DIFFERENT women) or Katherine Unknown (who had children baptized with another Wm. Ripley).
Elizabeth Banks appears to marry a Wm. Ripley, as a 1618 marriage record at Moulton, Lincolnshire, states, (no image to review for errors) & as baptism records for children (1620 thru 1626) show, but there is no corresponding marriage for a Katherine BANKS, marrying a Wm. Ripley, although a Katherine (no maiden name) is mentioned in baptisms records (1629 thru 1634, at Stepney, Middlesexshire). Neither of these DIFFERENT women could be the wife of the Wm. Ripley who settled in Hingham, MA, as his children are being baptized from 1616 thru 1630 at Wymondham, Norfolkshire (105 miles away from Moulton, England & 101 miles away from Stepney, Middlesexshire).
