(Battle of Flodden) THOMAS MASTERSON, ESQ. was born about 1465 of Nantwich, Cheshire, England, to Richard I Masterson (1431-1467) and Ellen Bostock (1439-1537.) He married Agnes Jodrell.
Thomas Masterson died 9 September 1513, Northumberland, England, age 48, at the Battle of Flodden. His son was captured in the battle.

Thomas Maisterson was the oldest son of Richard Maisterson, who in some pedigrees is called Nicholas Maisterson, and his wife Elen or Ellena Bostock the daughter of Matthew Bostock of Elton.[2] [3]

1. Thomas Maisterson, born in 1495, died in 1550, married Margery, the daughter and coheir of Roger Mainwaring,[5] escheator of Cheshire, and his wife Margaret, the daughter of Thomas Brooke of Leghton.[2]
2. Ellen, who was married to Roger Chetwood of Oakley.[2]
On 12 October, 1492, Teste me ipso at Chester 12. Oct. in the 8th year of our reign, Thomas Maisterson of Wich Malbanc, gentleman, along with a number of other Cheshire men, received a general pardon by King Henry VII of England for all riots, insurrections, conventicles, etc, by them before 16 March in 6 Henry VII.[1]
Thomas Maisterson, esq, with his 18 year old son, Thomas, participated in the battle of Flodden on 9 September, 1513, where he died and his son was taken prisoner.[2]
AGNES JODRELL was born about 1469 of Derby, Derbyshire, England, to George Jodrell (1454-) and Matilda Sutton-Dudley (1457-.) She married Thomas Masterson.
Agnes Jodrell died about 1523 of Nantwich, Cheshire, England, age 54.
