Elizabeth also died in Rowington, Warwickshire, England.

   Note: 8. John6 GRESWOLD (6.John5, 5.William4, 4.Richard3, 2.Ralph2, 1.John1) of Solihull (and Longden Hall, home of his mother) and Rowington was born about 1414 (age 44 at death of his uncle Thomas in 1458). In 1459, John6 conveyed to his brother Richard (who died in 1465) the property he inherited from their father John5. He married Elizabeth BEYNHAM, probably just before 1440. She was the daughter of Thomas BEYNHAM of Henley. John died about 1473 in Rowington, Warwickshire, England. Elizabeth also died in Rowington, Warwickshire, England. In the next two generations. the Greswolds divided among Solihull, Longden and Rowington, They had 3 children: 12. m i. John GRESWOLD. born about 1440. He is the John Greswold, Esq. who died 1481, for whom the writ was issued in Feb 1482 (according to the 1473 deed [see p 16], he then lived in Rowington). 13. f ii. Anne GRESWOLD, born about 1442/1445. She married Thomas4 HAWES (Thomas3, John2, Richard1) of Edlicott in 1465. He was born 1440. Thomas died 1540, at the age of 100. They were namesakes (five generations later) of the couple who married 150 years earlier. 14. m iii. Robert GRESWOLD, born about 1450, as he received property in 1473 and in 1481. He presumably stayed at Olton in Solihull. He may have been of the next generation as he appears first in 1473, in records that also include John7 and Richard8. The only other record so far is the release mentioned showing him at Olton in 1481.

   Page: Pages 13-15. John Greswold married Margaret Bromley about 1413. She was the daughter of Henry Bromely and Alice Hawes of Longdon Hall, a manor just east of Ulverley. John died in Solihull, Warwickshire, England, before the 1459 deed from John, his son, to Richard, the vicar. Since John went to Longdon Hall after marrying the daughter of Henry Bromley, he may have been the younger. They had three children: John Greswold, born about 1414, died about 1473; Richard Greswold, born 1417, Vicar of Tanworth-in-Arden from 1441 until his death in 1465 in Tanworth-In-Arden, Warwickshire, England; Christian Greswold, born about 1420, she married John West. John Greswold of Solihull (and Longdon Hall, home of his mother) and Rowington was born about 1414 (age 44 at death of his uncle Thomas in 1458).
