  Thomas Parker and wife Elizabeth fry both died on September 12th 1464 they were loyal to the Lancastrians during the war of the roses and in the bloody aftermath of the battle of hedgeley moore they were both executed with Henry Beaufort Duke of Somerset and the Earl of Salisbury. their son Giles who was 14 at the time was taken away but after proving himself loyal to the king his lands and ancestral home of browsholme was restored to his family
