The 1/3 manor of Eaton was held by John son of Robert Elyngham , and by his charter dated at Eaton on 14 May 1417, made with royal licence [26 April 1417: CPR 1416-22, p. 105] he granted it to Thomas Aylesbury, knight , John Megre, clerk , and Robert Wandesforth, chaplain , and their heirs and assigns. They held, and Megre and Wandesforth still hold, of the king in chief, service unknown, annual value 60s. Date of death and heir as in 93.
