He died on 13 January, 7 Richard II [1384]. Margaret the wife of John de Paiton, his daughter, aged 34 years and more, and Joan the wife of Robert de Swynburne, knight, daughter of Joan his daughter, aged 30 years and more, are his heirs.

Alice died during his lifetime. He held the under-mentioned hundred of Lexeden and advowson of Leghes in his demesne as of fee.
Esthorp. The manor, with the advowson of the church, held of the king, as of the honor of Boulogne, by knight’s service.
Lexeden. The hundred, held of the king by service of 53s. 4d. to be paid by the hands of the sheriff as blanch farm.

He held the under-mentioned manor of Weston Colvyle jointly with Joan, his wife, who survives, for the term of their lives, with remainder to Robert de Swynbourne, knight, John de Rookwode and William Askeby, clerk, and their heirs, by gift and feoffment of Thomas Mondevylle, knight, and John de Sutton, knight.
He held the under-mentioned manor of Wykys jointly with the said Joan, to them and the heirs of their bodies, with remainder to John de Peytton, knight, and Margaret his wife in fee tail, by gift as above.
Weston Colvyle. The manor, held of the earl of Surrey by service of one knight’s fee.
Wykys. The manor, held of the honor of Richmond by service of one knight’s fee.
He died on 11 January last. The aforesaid Margaret and Joan the wife of Robert Swynbourne are his next heirs of the blood, each of them being 28 years of age and more.

Long before his death he enfeoffed Henry Asty, Edmund Breton, John, parson of a third part of the church of Repyngale, Thomas de Haugh and Robert Gobaud of the under-mentioned manor etc. and delivered seisin to them. They remained in seisin a long time, and then re-enfeoffed him of all the premises, except the advowson of the church of the manor, for life, with remainder to Thomas Lampet, his kinsman, in tail male, and with remainder over to Margaret, his daughter, and her heirs and assigns.
Upton. The manor, and all his lands etc. in the towns of Upton and Denton, which are parcel of the manor, held of the honor of Huntingdon by knight’s service.

Long before her death, described as Joan who was the wife of Robert Swynbourne , daughter and heir of John Buttetorte, knight , and by her charter dated at Belchamp Otton on 4 November 1426, and shown to the jurors, she granted the manor of Belchamp Otton to Richard Waldegraue, knight, senior , Robert Cauendyssh , Geoffrey Brice, clerk , John Coo and Thomas Hardekyn and their heirs and assigns. They were seised and all the manorial tenants attorned to them.
Belchamp Otton. The manor is held of the king in chief of his honour of Boulogne by knight service, annual value 53s. 4d.
