  Biography
  Hugh Malpas was born about 1365. [1]
  
  On 30 October, 1414, at Lichfield, an Exemplification of presentations to a moiety of the Church of Malpas by Walter Bullock, licenciate of the Cathedral Church of Lichfield, stated that on 7 April, 1384, at Heywod, Hugh son of David de Malpas was presented by William, son of Lord William de Brereton, Kt, patron.[2]
