Text: In 1431 John Wydeslade and Elizabeth his wife and Stephen Trenewith and Isabella his wife suffered a fine to Walter Pollard John Mulys Richard Resprenna William Blynche and Nicholas Legh of the Manor of Treglaston with appurtenances in Bottaburgh Bokelly Tregellest Bodmin Tregwethian Seynteth and numerous other places named whereby the said John Wydeslade and Elizabeth and Stephen and Isabella recognised the Manor as the right of said Walter Pollard John Mulys and the others with 100 shillings rent etc together with the homage and services of Ralph Botreaux knt John Abbot of Clyue and his successors and divers other persons and the heirs of all of them for the tenements which they respectively held of the said John Wydeslade and Elizabeth his wife and Stephen Trenewith and Isabella his wife to hold to the said Walter Pollard John Mulys and the others of the chief lord of the fee at the services thereto pertaining and for this fine the said Walter and the others gave the said John Wydeslade and the others 300 marks of silver

Parties: John Wydeslade, querent, and John Bernhous and Felice, his wife, deforciants. Property: 1 messuage, 14 acres of land, 1 acre of meadow, a moiety of 1 acre of moor and common of pasture for 3 mares, 4 oxen, 3 cows, 1 pig and 30 sheep in Bokelond' Bruer called Thorne. Action: Plea of covenant. Agreement: John Bernhous and Felice have acknowledged the tenements and common to be the right of John Wydeslade, and have rendered them to him in the same court, to hold to John Wydeslade and his heirs, of the chief lords for ever. Warranty: Warranty by John Bernhous and Felice for themselves and the heirs of Felice. For this: John Wydeslade has given them 100 marks of silver. [CP 25/1/46/80, number 32]

Parties: John Wydeslade, querent, and Hugh Bryton' of Holdesworthy and Maud, his wife, deforciants. Property: 2 messuages, 3 ferlings of land, 10 acres of meadow and 100 acres of pasture in Bokelondbruer. Action: Plea of covenant. Agreement: Hugh and Maud have acknowledged the tenements to be the right of John, as those which he has of their gift, and have remised and quitclaimed them from themselves and the heirs of Hugh to him and his heirs for ever. Warranty: Warranty. For this: John has given them 20 marks of silver. [CP 25/1/46/83, number 121]
